Jimmy Carter bravely pursued peace
and human rights, President Sergio Mattarella said in a message
to US President Joe Biden Monday after his predecessor died aged
100.
Jimmy Carter "courageously pursued the path of peace and the
affirmation of human rights, both during his presidential
mandate and in the decades that followed", said Mattarella.
